Since all of you guys here are so awesome I'm gonna give you all an awesome money making tip. By the way I'm not gonna give you any referral links or any of that shit. It requires a little investment but you CAN make bank. If it's executed properly you will definitely get your money back, and COULD make up to 5 or 10 times: that's what's great about it. So, let's get started. I do a bit of coding in my spare time, I picked up a few tricks here and there. I signed up for a cool website called ELANCE, this is where freelancers and people looking to hire a freelancer go. There are a lot of experienced coders on the site that will work for very little (I'm one of them - $12/hour lmao)
Step 1) Think of a program that has some kind of potential, the more demand the better.
Step 2) List it on the site, include a detailed design plan but DON'T make it sound complex and lengthy, emphasize its simplicity - but don't lie. Put your budget somewhere between $30 to $50, people might ask for a little more though.
Step 3) Invite some freelancers. You'll start getting some offers in around 24 hours. Don't just take the first offer you get; analyze each freelancer and choose the one you think would work the best. Beware of the language barrier - it could be an issue.
Step 4) Message the freelancer you fancy and write a detailed explanation of the program before even considering to hire them, they HAVE to be capable of the program at hand.
Step 5) Once you've hired someone, you can put money into the Escrow but DON'T release it to the freelancer until you get perfection. Consistently ask for samples but don't be an asshole, as an occasional freelancer on this website I can vouch that programmers who dislike their client will take longer and put less effort in.
Step 6) Once you have the program, market it well! Made a nice thread design and don't stick to just one site, there are plenty of places you can find people that might wanna buy your program.
Step 7) You can release the money from the Escrow once you are 100% sure that the program is fully functional, once the programmer has it they can choose to just ignore you.
Step 8) Watch your Paypal fill up.
