Money Supply and Inflation

Well I've been doing a project about Money Supply and Inflation and I've came across a question I think would be a nice debate, maybe.

Do you think inflating money supply is ethical? What do you think is the right thing to do?

Not exactly sure how this is suppose to be a right or wrong thing. If the inflating of the supply in the short and long term is positive then yes it is the right thing to do. If it fails then it becomes the wrong thing to do.

In the end, no, because tax-payers will end up footing the bill.
