Holy Bible is the written Word of God, through the instrumentality of the Evangelists under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. These writings were compiled and preserved by the Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ.
In a pragmatic way, the Bible may be compared to a Service Manual of an expensive machine. It has everything that we ought to know about the manufacturer (or the Creator), about the product (or the Creature) and about the operating system (or the religion). Normally, one would read the 'Manual' even before he plugs in the wire, or he might just be shocked, "Ay, 110 pala!"
If there were only one book that a person should really own and read everyday of his life, it is the Bible! We cannot over-emphasize the importance and the power of the Bible in our desire to be holy and merit eternal life.
In the many Seminars that we have conducted, we have found the average of 15% as those having their own Bibles; and an average of 85% as those having their own Cell-phones! This is ironic because a Bible costs only some P350.00 while a Cell-phone costs up-wards from P2,500.00 to P18,000.00. One is willing to lend his Bible anytime, but his CP? Never!
The Bible compose of the Old Testament which consist 46 Books and the New Testament which consist of 27 Books.
I made this thread in order to posts some verses/passages taken from the Bible. This is in another way that all of us will open and read our Bible while posting some verses.
