Mothers should do whatever makes them the best mother they can be.
Mothers should stay at home with their children when they have the desire to do so and the financial, emotional, and mental capability to stay home. Staying home with the kids is not easy if you do it right, and it isn't for everyone.Mothers should work when it is financially necessary, or if they are not happy staying home.All mothers should do what is best for them and for their children, and we should all refrain from judging others for doing what is right for them, whether it is staying home or working outside the home!

Well I am in the favor of stay at home and look after children's why? because kids need more time and effort during their growth period so its natural they need assistance of their parents. During their learning age mother is the best teacher for them who can fulfill their every need so I support this method instead of doing other job.

I think mother must stay at home so she can raise children properly which is his job more than a father. Kids are more near to mother during their growing age so its necessary she pay full attention to them so they can grow up with confidence

why only mother should take a back step?father has no responsibility or what?why not a father should stay at home and have a watch over kids?why this stress for mother?i don't think its a true judging.
i agree a mother should and should take care of er child but certainly not at the price of her ambitions and her dreams.

The way the question is worded might lead one to believe that children are the woman's alone. They may or may not be. Certainly the child had a father, but that's biology. As to actual parenting, what's wrong with the idea that the couple make the decision as to who stays home with the kids (if anyone at all)? To accommodate the different relationships we are seeing in this day and age, whatever the parents (whatever mix of genders they may be) decide together is far more important that just the assigning of domestic responsibility for the children to the woman by some kind of default.
