3rd Feb - Motorola won an injunction over Apples iCloud technology, forbidding any product that uses the service to be sold in Germany. The patent calimed to be in-breach stated "multiple pager status synchronization system and method". The chances are Apple will appeal this ban.

Update 1 - Apple reported that it pulled the iPhone 3, 3GS and 4 aswell as some iPads from its German online store. But later reports say this was for a ban brought in, in Decemeber of last year and not for the ban brought in earlier in the day.

Update 2 - Apple has formally responded to the events earlier today and will appeal the decision made. Apple claims that the 'pager' pattent is out of date or invalid.

Update 3 - And within a matter of hours it has been told that the bans have been lifted and products will be back on sale in the German Apple online store soon.
