My Craziest thought about time

You know how some stars emit light that take millions of light years to travel to the earth?
Well imagine our sun as a star, if we could suddenly teleport millions of light years away, and zoom in on the earth, we can see what happened in the past on Earth.

Or perhaps if we moved the speed of light in the opposite way the earth rotates, hence breaking the timescale. Or something scientific like that.

I understood your post, you mean to say that if we could see the light emitted by the sun millions of year ago & concentrate on that light which fell on the earth we can see the past. Am I right??

But I don't think its possible because to see that light you have to go to millions of light years away. But Einstein said that nothing could go faster than Light, so if we reach the speed of light. Than too we can only see the earth image which was when we left earth, as we are going with light's speed we will see the same image throughout our journey.

Edit:- Please this is the way I write I am not a native english. So I don't have a good knowledge of grammar.

Wouldn't we not be able to see anything, since we would be going fast enough for light to not keep up with us?

wait if we were to suddenly teleport millions of light years away, then zoom in on earth, wouldn't you be looking into the future?

That's not crazy, however doing this would be insanely difficult because we gotta take some factors about the position of our earth into consideration.

Ok first of the earth orbits around the sun, the solar system travels along the spiral arm, the spiral arm orbits the center of our galaxy.

How are we suppose to find our earths coordinates? This will acquire some insane mapping of our nearby galaxies and our own.

Which is why we might only be able to do it in the future.
Also, according to Stephen Hawking, if we reflect all the light of the sun at one point, it would create a wormhole.
It seems like he's trollin, but hey! you never know.

He's actually not trolling, just talking about a REALLY complex theory.

This is my interpretation of time:
Each branch = someone screwing with time.

Warning, large image.

It's not time traveling or going into the past. If you were to teleport away and zoom in, it would be like watching an old picture or movie. You wouldn't call watching a movie made in the 90's time traveling. Which means, that you can't change the past... Unless there are other ways of going into the past, which is unlikely.

This has nothing to do with time seeing back in time, though.
Think of it as lag, like in Black Ops.

I think it's fascinating how we can see other universes, but we see them as they were 800 million years ago or something like that. You have to wonder what they look like now. They could be as evolved or more than we are.
