My headphones

My headphones for my laptop have gone all weird. I have had them for one month and suddenly when i put the connect thing into the plug thing in my laptop (no idea what they are called...) the music goes all quiet and when i wiggle it around it goes louder, but whenever i let go it goes quiet again.

It's very frustrating, and i was wondering is it something wrong with the headphones or the computer, or something else?

Well if you wiggle it around and it gets louder it should be a problem with your headphones

Plug the headphones in somewhere else and see if there is still a problem,
if so then its your headphones not the laptop,
if not then its your laptops audio jack that has stopped working,
there's not an easy way to fix it but you should consider buying USB sound card.

I recommend THIS one as i have been using it for about a year now with no problems.
