Based on my little brain's understanding, an IP address is like an internet connection ID. But how come my IP address changes every few days? Also sometimes, when I register or open an account in a site I get a message which says, "The IP address is already being used', so I can't register in that site anymore...I just thought that each internet line has its own IP address.
You have a dynamic IP. You can't really do much unless you buy a static IP from your isp, or get some other kind of thing that reroutes your ip to a certain one.
It happened to me once before. Something a bout a conflict. It's something where you have a wireless network and then two computers are connected to it and trying to access the internet. This will happen.
I see...I guess it has something to do with that dynamic vs static IP. Buying a static IP seems good, but I guess as long as I don't encounter major issues, I can go with the dynamic IP. Thanks.
Having a dynamic IP is good as your internet connection has a less chance of being completely down while DDoS attacks. However, I am not entirely sure about your registration problem. Is it occurring to a particular site or is it to many?
