Honestly, they are complete bullshit.

Any member can buy one and sell it to 100 people for $5, then resell it and make out like a bandit, not even caring about those 100 people that will loose it.

I wouldnt recommend buying user-owned awards, they will most likely get sold and taken.

This is in the wrong section.

And I disagree, the only user-owned award that hit 100 was the 'Pussy' award.

and it was Free.

I mean if you buy an award you accept the fact that it might be sold. Nothing you can really do about it, if a user wants to spend a couple bucks on an award they should be allowed to

I agree with what you're saying, but when you're "buy-in"ing an award, it's one of the risks you're taking.
The user can do whatever they please with the award because they purchased it. They own it.
This is why I wouldn't buy-in, that's highly unfair and there's nothing really you can do about it
I'm sorry that's happened to you more than once.

Pandas disagrees, If you buy-in a user owned award for paypal money, you're dumb as fuck.

In the end most of them will either be deleted or sold.

Not really that caring about awards if i can get one where no real life money is used upon than i will take the offer.
Or free awards
Pretty stupid that awards are bought with real money/btc/pp

I will go for awards if it doesn't cost me anything,
but 5 bucks shouldn't be a problem for anyone tbh.

Complaining won't work anyway. They are sold because people want to buy them.
