Well it's the holidays and starting from yesterday I am going do a certain procedure of exercises and see if I notice a difference in my body in two weeks.
OG iFuck a certified personal trainer told me to do this
-Do 5 sets of 10-20 push ups, knee to elbow crunches, crunches, sit ups, and another set of crunches. In between each exercise have a 5 breathe break. I am going to do this twice a day as well as a 5 minute jog.
I have done this last night and this morning and my muscles are fucking sore as a sausage on the BBQ.

I have taken a photo of myself before so I MIGHT post the results in two weeks!!!

Thanks George. Hopefully I will see results, and that I improve because I am really struggling with the push ups.

Are you planning to get jacked or just get fit?
Well I'm aiming for defined muscles. Not to build muscles but define them.
And I guess I'm fit but not upper body fit.

Then you're workout is not enough. I have 7 different workouts.
Chest and Back
Legs and Back
Shoulders and Arms
Plyometrics (Jump Training)
Abs
Back and Biceps
And a simple stretch workout which is my rest day.

10-20 pushups per day won't do anything.
Download P90X, and do one workout.
I'll give you an example.

Shoulders and Arms: (1 hour workout):

10 reps 70% MAX - Dumbell Chest Press
10 reps 60% MAX - Dumbell Chest Press
10 reps 50% MAX - Dumbell Chest Press

25 reps medium weight - Shoulder Flys

10 Wide-Fly Chin ups
5 Close Grip Chin ups

6 reps 90% MAX - Dumbell curl
4 reps 75% MAX - Dumbell curl

Repeat 3-4 times.

If you're planning to workout at home. Download P90X.
And if you want to start working out now.
Here's my suggestion.

30 Normal Push Ups
15 Heart-To-Heart Push Ups

40 Jack-Knives
Plank (2 minutes)

30 Wide Stance Push Ups
50 Crunches w/ foot support (Something on your feet so they don't rise in momentum)

Repeat twice.

But yea, download P90X and let me know how it goes.

Well according to a certified personal trainer it is enough considering my age, weight/size. If I were to do that I would drain myself and overwork my body which is not good.

my workout consists of going to the gym once a week, on a thursday afternoon, and doing it for 1h 20mins, of doing bench presses. with counter wight and without, both set to 30kg, using the dunbells 12.5kg, then cycling for 10mins then running for another 10 mins, then the rest is spent on the bench pressing and the dunbells and a punching bag, and after i drink my not soo tasty whey protien shake, smells vial, tastes vial but helps!

How old are you?

Edit: The only way you get stronger is by overworking your muscles.

I'm 15 as well. The workout that I showed you is MY workout.
I don't think you understand my workout. I'm not doing 10-20 push ups a day I'm doing like 50-100 a workout, not to mention I'm doing it twice a day.
What you read times that by 5 because it's 5 sets.

I did read what you wrote, and I know you're doing it five times.
But first of all. Doing that workout twice a day is BAD for your muscles.
You soft-tissue muscle fibers will be taking proteins from your fast-tissue muscle fibers after your first workout to repair themselves. You muscles will NOT get stronger if you take out most of your soft muscle tissue fibers and not rest for a day to let them regenerate, you will hurt yourself (Pull a muscle, etc.).

So do that workout once a day, and once a day only.

Second.
"Pushups" is too broad. The many different pushups that I listed will help you out to work different muscles.
Yes, I can easily pull off 100 pushups continuously, but not 25 heart to heart, normal, and wide stance. Which only adds up to 75 because they are harder and work different muscles.

That's basically it.
Just remember, don't workout twice a day. You'll hurt yourself.
I'm training to be a physiotherapist and go into kinesiology and human kinetics, and because I am interested in that, I have PLENTY of books about getting fit/strong and working out.
