I've decided to redo my site, so I've deleted all the files on my public_html (I'm using FileZilla as a FTP). I re-downloaded MyBB, and put the files in the correct place. I go to my site and see this:

So I go to the correct installation page (url.net/install) and I come to this:

I can't seem to get the correct info for this. I've looked up multiple tutorials, including the one by hackforums on Youtube, yet I still can't figure it out. Most tutorials seem to use paid hosting, like Hostgator. Currently, I'm using Dolphhost, so it's a bit confusing trying to figure it out. Any help?

You need to make a sql database.

The only thing you need to change on that entire page is,
Database username, password, and name. Change nothing else on that whole install page.

Also if you don't know you make the sql database in your hosting's control panel.

Forgot to close this, I fixed it a few minutes ago. I already had a SQL Database, the problem was that I had it set to localhost, when Dolphhost doesn't use that.

Dolphhost

I don't see why you are using them however thats fully up to you. I personally would never use a host that didn't use localhost. Must be free hosting or something.

It is free hosting. Im only using them until the site is finished. After that I plan on moving to GoDaddy, since I already get my domain from there. Too bad they took away GiftCards

That sucks. However I suggest hostgator over godaddy. Just my few cents on the matter.

I thought you said HostGator sucked (this was around the time with all the 505 errors).

It's only because I am hosting a big board on a non vps. For a new website such as yours it will be probably faster than any other host you can find online, especially godaddy.

Well, whenever I need to move to a new host to support my site, I'll read up on their stats.
