Did you try deleting it and re-downloading? What device are you on? Mine works fine.
 
Delete and re-download the app.

If you're on a beta software, like iOS 7, just keep completely closing the app and retrying.

EDIT: I wrote this before you posted that you're on iOS 6. It took a bit longer because CloudFlare interrupted the post.

I don't know then sorry, maybe delete some other apps that make your iPod slow or something.
