Need ip address changed.

I want to change my ip address. Anyone know how I can do this? I have called Comcast they told me with my current plan its impossible and I would have to upgrade my plan to business in order to change my ip and with that plan I could change it anytime. I just need it changed once thats all I want. I have had the same one for over 6 years. I need change. If you can help me that would be awesome.

Please let me know also. I would deff like this.

i herd you can unplug your modem for 15 mins + and it will reset. I havent tried

I have a NETGEAR aswell, I think you can unplug it for 15 mins Like swag said.

I have unplugged it for weeks and turned it back on and still and the same ip. That doesn't work. :/

I searched Google too, I couldn't really find anything. But for sure let me know if you do.
