Negative Rep Question

To begin, I am not sure if this is in the correct section. Anyways, I logged on today to see my reputation is a -5. Apparently, a user did not agree with my opinion about a topic involving a man who brung his child with him while he preformed sexually with another minor. The man was obviously sick but the user though otherwise. All I did was voice my opinion. Now, it appears to others as if I'm untrustworthy.

I am uncertain as if he was trolling or not. Regardless, it was wrong. I want to make future deals with users but this will most likely prevent that. I'm not positive on what to do here. Can someone please help me with this situation?

Nothing you can do about it. Only way to get rep removed is if you're wrongly accused of scamming.
Some people just get butt hurt and neg rep you for voicing your own opinion.

How would I do that? Cuz I had some dummy who thought I was a multi neg me when I first joined, and he's banned now so he can't remove it himself. A couple people actually did but they removed it.

Yeah! Me too.... I got negged for when I first joined the site because of my MF Doom avi.. So scumbag negged me 5.. once he was unbanned I asked nicely and he got his friend @cas to neg me 10... and thats the reason why I even have neg rep.
