I've been looking for a few days to try and find a forum in the showcase section which focuses strongly on computers/ tech and more specifically coding. It's pretty safe to say I had no luck in doing so, most forums just seem to shove a shitty little section away to the bottom of their categories which nobody ever actually visits let alone posts in.
So obviously with that being said, what do I do? I'm going to start my own. It will include two different parts inside each category, the categories will be HTML, PHP, C#, AJAX, Jquery, CSS, MySQL, Photoshop, Illustrator, SEO etc and the two category parts will be 'Help' and 'Feedback' which is pretty self explanatory.
I will be using forum software but unlike other forums the theme and general site feel will be very very very customized (and in an amazing way) that you won't even be able to tell we're running MyBB. I plan to have people leaving feedback or answers rather than just posting boring 'replies' and the general structure will not look like MyBB but be clean and tableless, totally rearranged to the usual.
That being said, I am looking for moderators/ super moderators with some knowledge on different things, this includes all of the categories mentioned above but don't be afraid to ask about other categories as there are many more I have in mind and you might just give me a new idea. I am still debating whether or not to have general discussion forums which are focused away from techy stuff, I probably won't though otherwise it will just be one single section called 'The Hangout'.
As well as needing mods/ super mods I am interested to know who would use this or even just find it useful if they were ever stuck with something, as well as finding it useful for feedback on projects.
