Any user who upgrades themself to Investor has the right to upgrade someone else for free!! So effectively, 2 users can pay $15 each to both get upgraded (or $10 each if you do it before tomorrow evening). This is all part of our donation drive before we move onto our new VPS, which will be costing a lot more than we pay currently.

It's just when we see you being dedicated. If we see 10-20 valid referrals in a short period of time we'll see that you're a dedicated member, thus upgrading you. We will know if they're fake. Alternatively, you can just be super HQ around the forum posting a lot and making 1-2 referrals a day maybe, that'd be fine.
