Total: £623.13

Currently looking for a decent case, Was thinking of going for a Coolmaster HAF X but will have to wait for that if I want that.

Budget max of £700 for now. If you can find any other parts which may be better for around that budget then post

8gb is too much, you will hardly use it all, I'll probably be getting 6gb.

I had 4GB RAM when I ran windows 7 and would crash from too much RAM usage on almost a daily basis. All I would do is have a bot running and a firefox browser open

I have 4gb of ram right now, I keep my VPS open, a bot open runnnig on my laptop, hosting a 5-6 person Skype call, playing css and have chrome open with 6-8 tabs open and don't go over 70%

I have 4gb ram running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate. Never has crashed on me.

About your pc, looks like the specs of my PC. It can probably run all the games smoothly out atm. I'm going to be upgrading to 6gb ram and an I7 and also a new power supply.

GL with your PC.

I have 6GB and I'm locked at around 90%. I want to bot more bots but ram is limiting me, soon to upgrade to 12GB.

Dude that's not a good idea, you should really get more than 4gb ram, it limits your speed tremendously when you have a couple of things open.

If your going passed 4gb ram you may as well get 8gb as soon it will be the new standard and ram is extremely cheap at the moment. N

Not to mention 2gb ram more than 4tb isn't worth it to because it's a 64-bit then, 4gb MORE is will overall make a huge difference.

Why does everyone say 4gb isn't good enough?

I have 4 gbs of ram and can open tons of things without any lag. I'm going to be upgrading to either 6 or 8 anyway.

Most applications only need around 2GB-4GB of RAM. You only need 8GB of RAM if you're a hardcore Photoshop user, or using and application that requires a lot of RAM.
