This thread was created because I feel as though the emotes here on ForumKorner are becoming bland, and could use some spice. So I have gone and found emoticons from other forums, and compiled some. Here are all of the emotes: ( click )
This tutorial does not stop there, however. If you are using a Mac system, there are some amazing things you can do!

- Open "System Preferences"
- Click "Keyboard"
- Near the top of the System Preferences window, click "Text". You will find a page similar to this:
Note: Do not pay attention to the information in the red box yet, as this will be explained shortly.
- Find an image you would like to use as an emoticon, and upload it to an image uploading website. I suggest using imgur.
- Press the + sign under "System Preferences", which can be seen here:
- Enter in the shortcut you will use to activate the emote. For the purpose of this tutorial, I will be using ":FK:".
- Now, you will be entering the information for your emote.
My emoticon will show as [img=30x30]http://i.imgur.com/TcgnaNX.png[/img], however feel free to get creative! You will now enter in your emoticon's information, with this format in the box corresponding box to the shortcut. The column is titled "With".
This is the code you will use when entering in the column "With".
Code:[img]URL HERE[/img] - Finally, open up Safari, and test your emoticon! If done correctly, something similar to this should happen:
If you post this, it will show up as an emote!
