It's annoying. It's too big of a change. At least give us an option. Like put a tiny little check box beside the search and leave the default as the way it was before, and put the other box as automatic. So if people want to use the automatic search they can simply select the other box.
Because I was so used to the regular search, that now whenever I type something that I want to search, it get's replaced by something completely irrelevant to what I'm searching. Hence it being annoying.
