I got $0.38 the very first day I used this site

And to answer the above questions, Basically, They give you a banner code that you can put in your signature, Website, Whatever. Every time that page loads, You get paid. So it's like a Pay Per Impression kind of thing.

A CPM site pays its users on the basis of every impression.CPM(Effective cost per mille) is the amount given to every publisher for 1000 impressions,in other words you will be paid for every visitor on your site/content. unlike other sites like adsense/adbrite where you get paid only for clicks.

Hope this is enough to clear the issue the issue.

Before joining this site. Can you disclose the name of the site. We can't see the name of the site as you're using bit.ly redirections. Also more information related to payout will help.
