New problem.. IDE HDD not showing up on Windows 7.

I'm running Windows 7 and i've plugged my old HDD into my motherboard, but i'm having a problem accessing it.. It doesn't show up anywhere..

So have you formatted it and created a partition for it?


I'm amusing your using windows 7.


1. Click on Start button
2. Type in Disk management in Search Bar
3. Click on Create and format hard disk Partition
4. Locate your hard drive
5. Format it
6 Create Partition
7. ?????
8. PROFIT

No, i'm trying to get some data off of it.

Do you have team viewer? It will be much easier for me to help. Also what kind of stuff are you getting from ur IDE HDD.
