Non-aero or no?

I heard that disabling aero on your win7 computer will save processor power, graphics power, and ram power, which I need a lot of, but it just doesn't look as cool as the aero. Should I leave it disabled? I can feel a difference in the speed of my computer now that I did, but what do you think about it?

stop making a thread about everything :/ And yeh it probably helps by like 1%?

Yes, it does. If you put classic on you will see a performance boost, as the GPU doesn't have to render out the transparency.

Isn't that a bit obvious? You are making threads for no reason tbh.

No, it's not obvious jackass, or I wouldn't have posted the thread. Derp. If you can read, Immortality said it didn't do much, so I don't know who to believe.

Yes it is, if something doesn't have to do something else, then it's obviously going to do that thing quicker.

Leave it off, why do you need transparency on anyways?
Plus, I done a course on computers over a 6 month period, so i should know these things.

It does speed it up if you turn it off, and you can notice it, just try it and if you don't see any difference yourself then just turn it back on.

You could have tested it without even making this thread lol.

Which makes it easy for you to change it without making a thread about it..
