Is it that great??

Some stupid good hacker recommended it and I usually don't see it in online file database scanners.

Norton slows your computer down a lot, and is rated very low.

Eset Nod 32 is very good.

Trust me, do not get norton. it screwed up my grandmothers PC so much. i had to go over and fix it up. then i scanned with avast, over 200 infected files.

I Kid you not.

Norton works 100% perfectly fine for me. I never get viruses, and always provents them.

Yeah. It mostly works. but sometimes it can really slow down/mess up your pc.

Norton used to suck, now it's making a comeback.

Avira was down for a bit in the past few months but i think they're back again.

I think Norton and Avira are making HUGE improvements. Norton has taken notice of users complaining about the slowness of there program and are making a new one soon im retty sure.

Also avira is just improving some things, like MSN blocker (pretty sure of this)

Norton is finally making a comeback.
I used to use them back in 2001-2002 and they sucked.
I bought $70 software just to see it be paranoid and slow down my computer.
It tried to delete a lot of my games I installed x_x.
Best is Kaspersky, NOD32 and McAfee.

Add avast to that list =)

No Avast isn't that good. People go on and on about it but it fails to detect a lot.
Eset Nod32 V4 is by FAR the best out their. I get it for free too. :)

No, it's not that great, go for Kaspersky or Symantec Endpoint Protection.

I heard that Symantec Anti Virus wan't that good except internet stuff?

Norton has come in major come back. It has socred 97.7 in detection rate but i'll still wouldn't get it becuase. it has a bad history

Norton is slowly making a comeback. But as an Avira subscriber, I cannot dislike there security's performance.
