What about adding those little notifications when you receive a PM?
Just like the current "2 Brand New Upgrade Competitions" notification, but for a PM you've received and not yet read.

Yeah, I get a notification as well when I receive a pm. Check your settings in the usercp to make sure you have it enabled.

I've never received a notification of any sorts, except for the "Private messages (unread 1, total...)"

You must have turned your notifications off. Look in User CP

Do you guys have it enabled? It works fine for me. Go to your user cp then on the left hand side under "your profile" you should see edit options. That should bring you to your options page and make sure you have "Alert me when I receive a new pm" checked.

If that doesn't work I think we might have a bug.
