Office work or business

Let me ask you this question, What do you choose grow old working on an office or be your own boss in your own business? Why?

All of us, I am sure, would rather be our own boss than to grow old working for somebody. But being your own boss entails more pressures and stresses than being an employee. Sometimes, we want to be the boss but we do not how to be the boss.

since I was in college, I prefer to have my own business. Due to financially constraint I compel to choice as an office worker. Probably, when I do have already an enough capital for my desired business, I will resign on my present job and be the boss on my computer shop business.

every one would actually like to go for their own business but this wont happen for all the people on their own, this hurts mostly.after they have no choice to go for the job this happened in my life

well, i'm working at office right now, the primary source of income for supporting my family. i think several time do own business. i'm plan that my wife to run this business, so we will have 2 source of income.

I have decided to step up and decided to be my own boss and leave my status as an employee. But it's not easy. There are lots of things to consider like the responsibilities and ownership of the business.In the business you also become a student in learning the system and later on becomes the teacher when you successfully acquired the knowledge and so you pass it on to other people. Having financial freedom is also one of the perks of having a business because even if you don't work for a single day your business still operates because of the people you hire unlike if you are an employee, no work, no pay. Time is also one of the things you can enjoy if you have a business. Going to a park on a Tuesday rather than on weekends when all the people clad because it's their only day off.So there however not all people are comfortable or are business minded so if they choose to stay as an employee that is also good as long as they have something to spend when they are at their retiring age.

It hears good to be boss of any organization or business, boss have to face lots of problems and tension, so it prefer to work and can be relaxed after office hours and get paid at the end of the month.

I am a technical man and so i am a professional and I am my own boss, though I am working for others! So the only option for me to get as much work as I can get not only to make money but also to keep my knowledge brushed and to keep my brain sharp too! Thanks !

There are people born to be a follower and they the ones mostly to be the office workers. Although some office works commands leadership, only a few would fall into that task most would plainly be the workers they are assigned to. It's more challenging and rewarding to be into a business wherein you work for yourself and be the own boss. The reward is more fulfilling financially. There is more possibility with success but when you work in an office, salary is fixed or with a few extras for a bonus and that happens only to a few lucky workers, not for everyone.

hey,ahm ofcourse I rather to choose for having my own business than to work in a office for somebody I never own,its nice to own business aside your the boss you own the profit for every outcome.

As I grow old, I would prefer to be my own boss. While working in an office, we at times get reprimended by our boss and our seniors. It is much better to have unfettered freedom in my personal business.

hi good day dwizz for me of course, i will choose business i dont want to grow old working in the office and if you are in business you have a chance to change your life because if you run your business well there's a possibility that you will earn big unlike working in the office you have a fix salary.

This is a very interesting thread. I want to be my own boss. So I think I prefer business. The problem is I don't have money for capital. And for that I need to work in an office first and save money. Then when I have enough money for capital, I will start my own business and quit office work.
