If you want to be respected, don't do it at all. If you want to have a good time, don't do it. If you want to look really low quality, go for it.

@Magic okay you need to stop. He is not being Low Quality by using the ';-;' face, heck I did it for so long. You joined December 2014 and you already have 5,000 posts? If you want to talk about Low Quality then go for it because you probably know tons about it since you mainly are Low Quality. You may not have any spelling errors or anything but the way it looks all you care is about statistics, like post count, how many awards you have and how much reputation you have. ForumKorner isn't centered around being High Quality, its a General Discussion forum. You know how many Low Quality people are on here and are better than you? Plenty of people.

My 5,000 posts are not low quality, I obtained them through posting loads of times when I was apart of many usergroups and held good conversations, I'm high quality as I speak with integrity and use good grammar. That stupid face is incredibly low quality and anyone relevant on this forum knows it. And of course it isn't centered around quality, that's why I gave him the option, I am helping him out because if he wants to be respected he will listen to me, and if he wants to be seen as low quality he will listen to you. Yes it is a general discussion forum, for people to gain the respect of other members and meet new friends, not to make a joke of yourself through doing stupid little faces. The guy can choose for himself, I don't really care.

@Magic guess what, your a new member on this forum too, you only have been apart of this forum for 6 months man. Its the internet. Not a lifestyle. @Aimi will have the same amount of respect if he uses the ';-;' face, trust me. Maybe he won't have your respect, but it dosen't matter because your not that big of a person on this forum. You may own Immortals, and I have been wanting to say this for a while, if someone else owned Immortals, you would not be in it because your not an Elite member on FK. You may think you are, but in all reality your just another kid that thinks he is the best on a forum. Come on now, lets just be friends.

I'm a new member but I have earned my right of respect, I would have joined Immortals as I'm active and use good grammar, mainly I use my head. As for the grammar part, he won't get a staff role if his grammar is bad, he won't be respected by veteran members, I ASSURE YOU, I speak to many respected veterans and they basically hate people that use shit grammar, and now I see why, it's disgusting seeing such an uneducated forum where people cannot even capitalize their 'I's'. I can assure you I am an elite member on this forum, my join date holds me back, but I'm friends with most really respected members and they respect me to. The people who dislike me are mainly the ones I kicked from my usergroup, and the ones that aren't all there in their head. You have no idea how many people dislike people judging by an individuals grammar, honestly.

It's been said a lot before, and it's going to be said again. Forum Korner isn't the English classroom, nor is each user post a graded essay, with that being said as long as i'm not being a flaming dick, I don't see the problem in adding emoticons to posts.

I don't care how anyone types. At the end of the day, you're closing that laptop screen, locking that iPhone or Android phone & getting in touch with reality again. Life is not personal anymore because everyone's faces are buried in some kind of screen. Let's stop trashing people and respect everyone for who they might be outside of the pixels they type on a medium-sized Internet forum.

I think the term "high quality" or "quality" is diluted and mainstream when it shouldn't be. Start basing a user off of their personal life experiences and the way they carry themselves. If they type an emoji, it means they have personality and are a generally happy person (by assumption). Let's all get along, or hit the fancy Ignore this user button that was so nicely invented for us users.

@trap I'm honestly disappointed that you think my commas are misplaced, but it doesn't offend me because I know how good my grammar is and you are mistaken. As for being genuine people, I'm nothing like I am on FK, I'm insane to be honest, in a good way. I just think you should be professional with these things, each to their own I suppose. And as for being happy, that doesn't apply to how you use them smiley faces on the forum, I speak to many people that don't do them on here and they are just as happy as someone who uses them. But I'm not to bothered, just a personal opinion.

It's how you conduct yourself, not sure why it being the internet matters much. Grammar is always necessary.
