Just a question, Does anyone spend hard earned money online? I personally wouldn't spend a cent of money online that hasn't previously been earned online, like, do people work and spend that money on their 1337 OG needs?

I managed to get far enough without investing any of my own money I earned IRL(other than buying HF L33t with a VCC I bought ), so why end it buying a username?

Buying virtual items such as tags and social mediums is very addicting. You  will never be fully satisfied, you could end up with the tag of your dreams but you will most likely get bored and want to trade/sell. As i work full time IRL i have my important things i get out of the way and i have a amount i spend on shit. I may spend it by getting pissed up and off my face for a week or I may buy a Gamertag, it doesn't matter whether you have earned it online or worked for it, its still money you blow either way!

I feel this is a touchy subject as sure, if you have the money to pay for OGs and pixels on social media sites then go for it. If that is honestly what makes you happy (I can see why it would make many people happy) then go for it! Who am I to judge you? I have spent my own money on an upgrade on FK and yes although that hands me some perks etc. at the end of the day, it is just some pixels and additional features to a website which make me happy (not to a maximum extent - I don't live a happy life because I am upgraded on a forum, please no hate fam) and quite frankly I am in the same boat as you, I spent money on an FK upgrade because it makes me happy so if having nice usernames makes you happy then go ahead. Just don't moan about being broke when you have the username "lol" or your name or something crazy on twitter
