800MHz.. The cpu is 3.2GHz. There is something wrong. I wondered why Minecraft wasn't getting 100+ fps.


Here is my motherboard I'm guessing it just can't handle it. Or maybe I need to update my bios?

Nah, I don't. I just need a new mobo. I should be getting one with the money that I get from xmas. So it's all fine.

It's AMD Cool and quiet feature. If your browsing internet it will lower your clock speed to save power. When your using a high intensive program it will increase your clock speed.


You can disable it through BIOS. But it's a cool feature that saves power and decreases heat consumption.

Yeah, I don't think that's the case. The chipset and the mobo is pretty fucking old.

It's funny how it detects you have 4GB Virtual RAM. Download Prime 95 and CPU-Z. Do a stress test and it should be running at 3.2Ghz.
