What are your opinions about online dating in general?

When you say "Online Dating", do you mean dating someone over the internet and never meeting them, or you found someone on the internet and are gonna have coffee with them next week?

Online dating can mean a lot.. Like for an example, I'm moving this week to a different city and a week later my girlfriend is moving too to the same city and for that time being we'll be only able to talk on the phone, but I've met her..?

I think the OP means things like eHarmony etc. where people organise dates online and possibly talk to people and get to know them over the internet and then meet up in real life at some point in the future.

I don't have a problem with meeting someone who lives in your area on a website like FarmersOnly.com and BlackPeopleMeet.com but if you never meet them in person you don't really know them.

I guess I don't have much of an opinion on it.
