Opiates vs Amphetamines

Disclaimer: If you are under the age of 18 or are against illegal substances or using legal substances in an illegal way, I suggest you go find another thread to read. This topic is purely meant to discuss, compare and share experiences with Opiates and Amphetamines.

For those who may not know what I am referring to, these are two drug classes at opposite ends of the spectrum. Opiates (downers) are relaxing and euphoric while Amphetamines (uppers, speed) are intense and make you feel like superman.

The most commonly known "drug" from each category is Heroin (Op) and Meth (Am).

Now I do not use these substances at the level of Heroin and Meth. They are extreme and usually for long times users and addicts. I like their babies, or smaller forms. For example, Vicodin (Op) and Adderall (Am) which you are probably more familiar with.

What I like depends on what I want. Any kind of pain killer or muscle relaxer is great for me anytime. I love being faded and listening to music. The "come down" and withdrawl is minimal, I just get tired and hungry. It always turns out well.
Amphetamines uses on the other hand are very spread out for me. I absolutely hate the come down and the side effects, the next day just always sucks so much dick. But the 12 hours im speeding for are amazing. Im electric, alive. I excel in everything, I am just overall enhanced in my mental and physical states. I still havent decided if its worth it lol.

So, what do you prefer? What are your experiences like? Do you have any tips or pieces of advice either way? Discuss.

Personally, I would not fuck around with either. Synthetic drugs are the ones who fuck your system up the most. MarY Jane is the only drug I use. Even then, it's debatable whether it really is a "drug", although it's classified as one.

Yeah man. I dont care if you're 16 or 22, just be mature. I set the age disclaimer so people wouldnt freak out.

@Galaxies, Vicodin is just as synthetic as anything else you would find in your cabinet at home. Same with adderall. People are prescribed these things, there are natural receptors in the body that allow them to work. Look up what an Opioid receptor is. If you use it in moderation for recreational purposes, it can be a hell of a time. Aside from that, smoking weed sure isnt harmless. Everything has its pros and cons. Everything is a balance. Im not saying Vicodin or Adderall are "good" for your body, im saying your body is more than capable of handling them and the experience is worth it, imo.

Yeah I really dont want to get into the whole weed thing. Originally I was going to make a thread asking people what they're favorite substance was but I knew it would just be littered with bud lovers. Fun fact: I've "tripped" harder on marijuana than I have on any other drug. And it wasnt a good trip, at all.

OT: Pills are all I like anymore aside from hallucinogens. I've run my course with alcohol and marijuana. Pills are so easy to do and easy to conceal, just not always easy to find

It's classification as a drug is not debatable in any way.

To focus more on the original topic, I don't see a point in using either of these drugs. The cons are much more persuasive than the pros, in this case.

And thats strictly a matter of opinion which isnt worth debating. None of this is worth debating. It was a thread meant for discussion and personal experiences. Some mod moved it here and look what its turning into. Sighhhh.

Well crystal meth gives you a happy euphoric sensation but then it comes to bite you in the ass since you feel depressed, on the other hand Heroin makes you energetic but it also fucks you up. Im also going to say it depends how you do the drug because that also determines how long it is until the drug kicks in

Bro. Those are the extremes. You do too much of anything and you wont feel well. Im well aware of the side effects and bad weight that Heroin and Meth carry. I just wanted people to state their preference, good/bad experiences, etc. More like sharing new information, not recycling old.

I appreciate your input though. As I said in the OP I dont fuck with Heroin or Meth. I have seen peoples' lives fall apart, its a scary and sad thing to see. I really just like the smaller forms of each of them. They make me feel amazing in two totally different ways. Its like a cheat code for life.

The media over exagerates everything they make it seem like if you do meth/heroin once you ae going to end up homeless and a drug addict while this is on the most extreme cases there are plently of people who have normal lives and you couldn't even tell they did drugs."If" I were to do that I would slide with meth because of the feeling you get and you also have tons of energy,also you feel even better during sex.

OPIATES win. Stimulants are evil. They fuck with my sleeping patterns for days and (I think) are more addictive.

@Shift I see what you mean. Thankfully you dont have to do meth or heroin to experience either feeling Natural highs are great too, I personally just find it difficult to achieve them. They are so candid its hard to reproduce, for me.

@Offline, agreed lol. Opiates for me are more addictive but coming down from 12-14 hours of speeding is wicked. My mouth is drier than a desert from talking so much, I cant sleep, cant eat and I am so aggitated and on edge all day. I get the biggest headaches because my eyes wont stop adjusting to the light (dilating) and overall everything sucks. I always hate myself for doing it but as I said...I feel like superman. The trade off is deff. sketchy.

Oh yea, and my favorite side effect of Amphetamines, I almost forgot. Small Dick Syndrome. Lmao, the first time I did adderall and I saw my own package I started panicking. I had no awareness of it being possible, let alone normal. Seriously one of the scariest things that ever happened to me.

Hahaha dude..if you can get it up you can go forever. Its almost frustrating because you cant bust. But yeah..I would like to run a study on the intensity/experience of orgasms on different drugs, for both men and women. There is definitely a difference. I tried to have sex on shrooms and my body told me no. Like I tried to touch my penis and it was extremely painful. Shits weird, but interesting.

I volunteer for that sudy lol, but I have noticed that many people take meth even when they know they will feel like shit later on but that small moment of pleasure makes it worth it.

Well, in my opinion if you're taking meth its beyond the choice and trade-off of pain and pleasure. The amount of euphoria experienced is nothing short of phenomenal but you can still experience that with addy or molly or coke or whatever. It isnt as intense but its still extremely satisfying to the average person. Meth is for people who have built up so much tolerance to speed that they cant even get high off of it anymore. It takes a lot of abuse of a drug to get to that point, and thats not what i'm advocating here. As I said, moderation and maturity will do you good with a smaller form of either meth or opiates.

Edit: And even if you arent satisfied with the minor forms of downers and speed, coming off of them should be enough to make you not want to go higher up the chain. Everyones body is different, so you might not even feel shitty after speeding for 12 hours, and thats the scary thing. Im glad my body responds to these drugs correctly, I can still have a great experience but enough of it is shitty to not make me want to go further if that makes sense.

I agree with that the usual effect lasts for 12 hours but for me its always 14-16 hours so it just depends

Well, I've never actually done meth and I dont want to so I cant really speak on behalf of that. Ill take between 2-4 Adderall and be speeding hard for 8 hours, feeling okay for another 4, and then feeling shitty for 12-24 hours depending.

The ones I get are 25 mg, but they are XR which really makes them special. I weigh like 160 and as I said 2 of them do me justice haha. I've done synthetic molly which was great, real molly which didnt do anything to me except give me a terrible drip. Coke I did one time and it didnt do much for me. Could have just been a problem with quantity or quality, idk.

Overall I prefer Opiates because coming down off them doesnt make me hate life, and I can do them whenever. I have to prepare ahead of time if im going to speed because I know whats coming the next day haha. The exception was when I did suboxone, which is one step down from heroin. Never again will I do that shit. I did twice what I was told to do, and I felt great but I couldnt fight the sleep. That shit it strong and I passed out. When I woke up, I felt like an old man. Couldnt get out of bed all day. That was my own fault. Only bad experience i've had with Opiates aside from minor withdrawl from pain killers.
