In the market for a new laptop, and I was looking at the y40 & overall it seems like a all around decent laptop for my budget.

What are your thoughts on it? thanks.

I always had laptops, not a big fan of desktops.

Far enough its a good laptop for the price, and if it suites what you need it to do then get it.

Lenovo is a great brand, I have a desktop and it works marvelous for Running Fraps/DXTory, Twitch, RaidCall, vent, mumble, and two or three games at once.

Yes but I was looking at all the reviews and a few people say Space bar and screen are not the greatest, but it's still a beast laptop for it's price.
