What are your thoughts on the gamertag market? I havent been around long at all but i was looking at the gamertag threads from 2012 and tags that were ''decent'' at the time are insane now. Like i saw a clean 4-5 letter  and it was only selling for $60.. Tags like that now are 850+..

Thoughts on the topic?

RE: Opinions On The Gamertag Martket?

Good tags are rare and very expensive. People scam and there are a lot of turboers around.

I can buy the name killtacular on Xbox for $150, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to drop face in Halo!

You define the name, the name does not define you

You could probably still get a decent tag for fairly cheap, if you message someone playing on the Gamertag itself that isn't in the community.

There's still a high chance that the tag will get turboed though, as there a lot of them around.

Personally, I'd settle for a semi myself, as tags are ridiculously priced nowadays :)

Kids also didn't tend to be flaming homosexuals back then either. I mean, don't get me wrong, they were plentiful, but damn have they expanded. It's almost everyone at this point.

It's like anything, the more people want it the more the value goes up, in 1950's a loaf of bread would have been like 1p lol, nowadays its 100x more, if you catch my drift.

I think (and I'm not having at anyone because I'm doing the same!) that people who have good tags are done now. They've waited until a nice tag has come up and copped it. They won't risk selling it because another amazing tag might not ever come up.

I don't want to sell any of mine because I know they'll get passed around and around and end up turboed or banned. The only time a crazy good tag seems to come out of the woodwork is when someone is quitting the scene hence selling their final. Which 9 times out of 10 is a really nice tag

You can still find nice tags for cheap, I got some really nice ones for prices you that a 3 character would normally go for.

Your reply was pointless.

the point of mine was to point out just how pointless colour's original point was.
