Parascape is a friendly runescape private server, based off the PI sources. It features working shops, magic, a fully working website (with realtime server status + forums) with a full webclient tweaked to how we need it.
As we are a marketing forum we have no sufficent use for this. We currently are trying to build reputation and expand our forum, We simply don't have enough traffic for a server.
Not true Weeds. RSPS servers generate traffic. But before we launch this as our official server, I'd want to know that it's stable and won't go down. It didn't load for me this morning and it still doesn't. If MF is going to have a server, I'd want it to be high quality.
That'd have to change obviously. The whole point of the RSPS is to generate traffic for MF, and many RS users are passionate sellers in the Runescape Market. So the RSPS would have to be crawling with advertisements to Market Forums. No outside forums lol .
The server is infact online crayo, and always has been, try flushing your dns cache etc and reloading your browser.
Also, the forums on the site would be disabled, but for access purposes the website will still be there.

Assuming it was, yes i agree heavily but it just seems kinda sketchy that this site won't work. Perhaps its a drive-by? run a scan.
I think this was a good idea, if Alex would be nice enough to donate a VPS to MarketForums, I could help with the RS server administration and coding. Thats if anybody wants to try creating an official MarketForums RS server again.
