I mean seriously, it's just a damn hat which shows you're wealthy. Most pointsless item in runescape. EVen more pointless than Goblin mail.
 
So freaking trough, I would buy myself an divine or something if I would have the gold, but not an Phat, as I would never wear it anyway

I would buy them because they rise like shit. I would never wear it though because I always bot and I'm not risking 1B to it.
 
People either buy them because they are investing in them.

Or they buy them because they can. They can be used as another big source of gold if you already have max cash.
So you can stake them.

But you guys are really missing the real point in why people buy them. They buy them to get money by investing.
 
Cash is becoming less and less each day, why not invest in an item that cannot be killed for or obtained anymore.

means you bot to much lol, nah but seriously party hats and santas and everything else like that, its just to boast and i think its great if you have one, and if you don't, it gives you a goal to try and achieve in the game.

Partyhats are just for storing money as been said before.
But they are also to showoff how rich you are. Too bad I can't afford them only have 211m
 
It's not pointless. Not at all.
 
Not really if you think about it. They're stupid little things but they cost a ton of money, so you'll obviously stand out if you have one.
