PayPal: Payment under review

I got a payment from someone for $250 USD and it was placed under review and has been for the past 4 hours. I've had this happen before and it cleared within 30-60 minutes.

If I were to refund the payment and then have the seller send the payment back, would it clear or would it be under review again?

I would like an answer from those who have done this before.

It would be reevaluated. most likely under review again though because the issue would be likely to occur again.

This happened to me and Hysteria. I refunded him, then he sent the payments in increments.

You just have to wait 24 hours and it should be fine. The same thing is happening on my Paypal right now.

Yeah I know but it's just odd. It usually takes less than an hour and it's been 5.

It took 24 hours for mine. It's normally when someone just signed up using paypal. They wait to see if it'll be reported "fraud" or not..

have him send them in smaller bits. that happened with me yesterday, I just refunded and had it sent in smaller payments (payments of 50$)

Bro paypal detects suspicious activity, by refunding and having him send again or in smaller increments it is going to look more suspicious and all you're going to do is risk a limitation.. Wait it out and good luck man.
