Paypal Temporary Holding!?

Hey Guys,

A while ago I did a deal and the funds started to pend on the users end we worked it out and he gave me a full refund it was all legit etc and the refund went in appeared in my balance etc then went out and now it says Temporary Hold with this note "PayPal has placed a temporary hold while we're reviewing it. We'll contact you shortly with further information." Now I have googled it and looked it up and I have read of people not been able to access their funds for 21 days! witch is just ridiculous because I want to do another deal ASAP so I was just wondering if any of you guys have experienced this and how long it took for your funds to be released. It's been 4 days so far and I just want them to be released so I can get on with dealing etc. Why? WHY Paypal!! :/

Can you take a screenshot of the email that they sent you and of the transaction in your PayPal?

It sounds like the guy who sent you the money either disputed the payment or his account got limited which caused it to automatically dispute the payment.

I think it was his paypal been limited what is the issue, Here is the transaction though

And the only email I recived was the orginal email just saying I have been sent a refund Paypal still haven't said why they are holding it

Hmm well I'm really not sure.

Your best option would be to call up PayPal and ask them about it.

Their customer support is usually pretty friendly and helpful.

By the way, I am the one that issued the refund because I couldn't follow through my end of the deal. He wants to send it again now that the issue is resolved.

it means he either charged back, he got limited, or the money he sent you isnt legit.

You just have to be respectful and have common sense when calling them.

Anyways, this has happened to me. One of two things has to happen: wait the 21 days for the funds to be dispersed, or call them up and tell them why you need the funds sooner.
