I've never been console banned, but my old GT has been banned for quite a while now.

dude my account was a 3 year gooiing on 4 max in all cods and 50 in halo and really high on battle field 3 and alot of other games and do you get to play the games that were bought on that account ? since im taking my console in to bestbuy to say its broken

DO NOT delete your banned profile from the Xbox. Move the hard drive itself to a fresh new xbox and the games should work fine

do you think its okay to take the console back to bestbuy and say it freezes and over heats ? since i still have a best buy waranty

It just happened to me not too long ago. I did nothing at all & the email they sent me was also complete bull. They said that I've been hacking accounts when I did no such thing

well the only thing i have done is recoverd my friends tag to give him master prestige and they said i was hacking accounts when i didnt do that

Just as Firm said. It happens daily to lots of people, so don't suspect it's a ban wave.

i called up xbox once and asked why i got console banned (i already knew why), and they said that they can not tell any one why, but the main reason everyone gets console banned is for marketplace fraud. she said that's the biggest reason why people get console banned, but yeah, just saying.

Did it not tell you why, or can you remember if you did anything bad eg hack mod etc.
