Photography Section?

Hello!
Pretty new to this forum (pls no bully bcos am not 2011 og swagster) but I've had a huge obsession with photography along with glass, lenses, and anything of the sort. I'm sure I'm not the only one which is why I think this forum should have a dedicated section for that!
It could fit right in under media because photography/videography is a huge part of todays media. The section would be great not only for people that are massive geeks with the whole photography thing, but photography newbies could slide in and ask questions on which model of camera would be best for them based on what they'd use it for.
It could have sub-sections for: Lenses/Digital/?Film?/Models/Which Brand to Choose/ and /Addons/
Hoping to have @Philly see this, because I think this would be a good addition to the forum c:

would you mean the graphics section? Photographs fit well into there as well as cgi.

You'd get bullied for saying shit like bcos og swagster and such. Aside from that I agree, the section would be nice. Some fag used to post a lot of shoes if I recall correctly.

Sort of @Random but I'm more talking about a section strictly for photography and the use of cameras, lenses, and other things like that. Not really for graphics and things that have been almost solely created digitally with a program.

See the thing is.. alot of kids here never go outside. so that section wouldn't do well, as we'd just have pics of doritos and mtn dew.

UPDATE: i've noticed that there HAS been a suggestion for this to be added, it was suggested by @Interlude (as seen here) back in 2013 and it was denied by @Color because you could post pictures under the appropriate general section. However I believe that my suggestion is different, but contains the same name. Instead of Interlude suggesting a spot where people upload their taken photos, my suggestion is a whole section dedicated to the entirety of Photography. I hope @Philly and @Color will note the differences, and that the idea will be at least considered and not judged due to the fact that it has the same name as a rejected idea.

Color was not a moderator back then, was he? I think not but I may be wrong, so I dont see how he could have denied it.

I think that a section solely for pictures taken by members would go inactive, but my suggestion is more for enthusiasts who are more into the hardware such as brands, lenses, or other addons. I'm sure even non-enthusiasts could look in and talk about the hardware, and maybe learn something about hardware that they maybe already own or ask questions about cameras they are looking into or something. I think that it may not be as active as some other threads, but I don't think it would ever go completely inactive, or inactive enough to close. I for one would contribute quite a bit to the section and try to keep it from dying because photography and camera hardware has always been a passion of mine.

You don't need a section to do those things. If they're was a high demand for this, it would make sense to have a section, but there isn't.

I was in no position back in 2013 to deny anything, and i'm still not. I just happened to be the only post. haha.
The same is still applicable, as @"Cann!bal" stated.

Going to bump this again, I know @sector and @kowai would both like this section.
I hope this can be added one day, I love photography and could chat about it all day long.

For sure! To my knowledge the only place in the future to talk about this would be the Gallery group or w/e Mystic decides to turn into.
