Pictures In Forums

Hey I know this may be a noobish question but how would I go about putting a picture in a forum? I just can't seem to get in done.
HERE is an example of what I would like, I would like a pic like he put but with my proof of ownership, so if someone could be please tell me how to do this, is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

screenshot it, copy the URL then add new reply and go to the top right and select insert image and paste the URL you copied in the bar.

It nevers come out like a picture though, it comes out like this.

What am I doing wrong?

use Gyazo, its easy to use and the picture quality is amzing

Some urls you have to enter .png after the url though. So it would be

I have it, and I take the pics, but I can't get the picture to show in the forum itself, sure I can redirect a link to the picture, but I don't want to do that, I want the picture on the forum page itself.

Do what I told you and it will work. Include .png if it does not have a picture ending url.

Something to do with graphics I would say, I already moved it.

Copy either the URL of the image or the IMG , both are the same thing accet ones a link and the other is purely a picture straight on the thread.

Thanks but Christy already helped me. Also if a mod would like to close this thread I would advise it as my question has been answered.
