Hi,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but felt this was the most appropriate.

My question is what is the point of stat instagrams?

Obviously to grow them, but what advantage is this?

Well, one reason is to sell shoutouts to other accounts.

I've never understood this myself
I just don't like the idea of 100[0]s of people creeping on me. I don't know...Just not appealing to me but, ya know, $$$ is $$$

Shoutouts/Promos aren't even where the money is. I've started making a few hundred per day around 50k, and it keeps growing as I near 100k.

But how though? What actually creates the revenue on an Instagram? Because YT has ads before videos and that, but i don't think Insta would put ads before pictures?

You can actually make a good amount out of stats, although I don't run one and never will, not my style.

From a personal view I'd say the point of a stat account is to engage and interact with a small group of followers and then grow even larger and meet even more people. I'd make one just for meeting new people and entertaining people, I wouldn't care about selling shoutouts or anything because it's not like I even have a PayPal or Bitcoin *KappaB*

I guess that's what I think the point in stat accounts is.

stat instagrams? the point is to make money. that's for the business-oriented part of ig.

random kids with stat instagrams fail to get decent exposure to sunlight and sit inside pretending to be relevant online by posting recycled textposts.

If you grow them you can sell shoutouts for money and make a shit ton of it... Also you can sell the account at some point worth thousands.
