I just lost 7 posts due to someone else's thread being deleted.

I think a we should keep our post count even though someones thread gets deleted.

I think no tbh. If you post on a spamming thread and it gets deleted then you loose your post. Not that hard of a concept tbh.

Nah, that'd be stupid, because you could spam and keep your posts, which is the main reason threads get deleted (that I've seen)

You're reading it completely wrong and post count isn't affected in the Spamming and Trolling section.

I'm saying that if you make a good post but the user that made the thread, gets his thread deleted. You shouldn't lose your post count.

No im not reading it wrong. If a thread gets deleted EVERYTHING gets deleted all posts everything. you will NOT keep your posts either way so it doesent matter.

Obviously.. Lol. But just because a author feels the need to remove a specific thread, that does not mean that I have to give up my post count because he just felt like it.

Dude, this isn't IPB. MyBB deletes the post count when a thread or post is deleted via Moderator Control Panel.

Nah dude sorry don't even think that's possible :/

There might be a way to do it, but it'd be really hard and even if you were manage to do it, I wouldn't like it. Most threads that get deleted are spammy or violate the rules.
