I think getting into "Power" should be harder. I think it should be

At least a minimum of 1000 HQ posts.
At least a minimum of 100 reputation points.
Being a member for at least 3 months.

I feel the original requirements are just to easy. I mean, 20 reputation points at least? A member could join and get that in a day :O

Power should be a group for the best of the best members to get in, not LQ members who join and get butthurt and start handing out red apples for no reason

dude it took me forever to get the rep i have and i have been here since october. no ones reps me :/ not to mention the vouches are hard to get because after a deal no one wants to vouch eachother they just wanna either go buy shit with their new money or play with their new account.

I support your suggestion, although the only thing I would change is the reputation requirement. I think that reputation is too easy to acquire around here, so for that reason, members have to have a minimum of 1-2 weeks spent online to obtain the 'Power' status instead.

And that is true, members could easily get themselves 20+ reputation points on their first day of registering. I remember my first day on ForumKorner, I was given around 120 reputation points in the first three hours of registering. That's because I upgraded to Onyx.

I agree with all of you, Power should be for the highest quality of members to get into, something you have to work for.

I support this idea as well except I think the part being a member for 2 months is fine

I personally think we should just leave it the same and that Philly should add the Power+ or whatever which would require like 1.5k posts, 1 month online, being a member for 6 months, and some other stuff. That group would really separate the veterans and the majority of the High Quality population of the site from the rest since the requirements are so high.

We should leave it how it is, but bump up Rep. Anyway we could make these the requirements for Power+.
