you have to add gimp into that list.. photoshop wins.
 
I'd prefer PDN with lots of plugins.

You might want to add GIMP as vili said.
 
Paint.net is basically the same with lots of plugins.

Really makes a difference for me with the plugins, they seem pretty useful.
 
Photoshop is for people who have the wonga or in most cases its called dosh or cash

Paint.net is for everyone and its freeeeeeeeeeeee so everyone who doesnt have the wonga or cash can use it .

 
Just get a cracked photoshop...

Better than paint net you won't regret using it

I would recommend you to Gameover, but he has not been activate for a while. Maybe try and shoot him a PM telling him that you were looking for some good Beingerin starter for Photoshop and he should be able to help you. If not I would check Youtbue for some.

Voted for photoshop. I never used any other photo editing tools (except MS Paint lol)
 
I voted for Paint.net , because i sue it and you can make a really good signatures with it.
 
Changed mine to PDN
i found PS way too messy and PDN is much clearer..
