Well I guess of you don't see a point for it you aren't seeing outside of the box. There is an obvious use for it, a great example being @illusion and how he paid to be unbanned after whatever he did. And seeing pardons, people should be aware of users past history with bans.

Paying to be unbanned shouldn't be a thing anyway, but I don't know the situation with that. It's also not hard to go to someone's profile and look at their recent posts, most of the time you'll see something related to a 'scam' or 'dispute'. Anyhow, anyone who scams shouldn't be allowed back personally.
Just my opinion, anyhow. If something like this is added I wouldn't mind, but don't get your hopes up as there are things from months ago which are still to be changed or added.
