Private messages error: "Invalid PM"

So this error has been happening for a really long time but I just couldn't be arsed on making a thread about it. I can still see my pm's I just have to go to my inbox manually I can no longer click this 

If I try to click it so that it takes me to my inbox then an empty page just pops up saying this

it justs get really annoying. I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else or just me.

Happens to me, all I do is delete my alerts and inbox..

I don't know why it does that either I noticed that earlier today.

It happens if you read the PM before checking the alert.

I didn't know that this was an error, all I ever did was just go to my inbox and look at the PM their.

This happens to everyone here it's to do with the version of MyBB or some shit. It's not a struggle just to click twice by clicking on messages then inbox. BOOM!!!! You can now see your messages. ezpz
