I think it should be bumped back up to 10k points + the people who buy with points don't get 1.5k points.
Following reasons ;
1) Bumped up to 10k points because people get their own points + I know its $10, but some people just can't pay $7 instantly... So instead they buy points over a long period of time + they only need to buy a certain amount of points before they can get it due to them already having points from posting and such. Look at it in the long run.
2) If you pay with points don't give him 1.5k points its pointless... They'll just resell the points...
3) If you don't accept the first thought accept the second one because your only making prof. worth $3.5 which is bad for the site.
