Prohibited words should apply to usernames.

Well, I personally think that prohibited (rude/offensive) words should apply to user names as well. Just thought I'd suggest this because I have seen a few others say similar things on another thread today.

Anyone agree with me?

EDIT: I don't mind swearing, or swear words, I just find it silly that it's fine for peoples usernames to have it, but they can't even say the word..​

I don't mind it myself, I just find it silly that some swear words are prohibited, but i doesn't apply to usernames?

The words that are prohibited now should also be prohibited in usernames. They are prohibited for a reason. Users should feel safe here, and not have to deal with certain words.

People who get harassed with it daily shouldn't have to deal with it here. This is supposed to be a welcoming place for all users. Plus, it makes the forum look low quality and un-professional. That doesn't matter, though, because the word filters will never change, according to staff.

Meh. Philly would probably have to manually do it. Prohibiting that word just limits my arsenal. I don't really care either way, to be honest.
