I think the proof rule is very lame. I know it helps prevents scamming, but there isn't any scamming going on here really anyways. I was wondering if we could get rid of the proof rule or at least make it so upgraded members don't have to post proof.

Same, I think proof should be applied toward the buyer if asked for.

I'm on both sides here. Part of me says no, because on most other forums the high end members are the scammers because everyone trusts them, and they dont request proof. However, another part of me says yes, because I hate taking 60+ pics of proof for my threads, and I feel it should only be required if the buyer requests it.

Not true . The reason why we dont have many scam reports is because we dont have many trades going on. Trust me though theres been quite a few scammers. But the idea that upgraded members not posting proof is pretty good . But there is still a 50/50 chance you will be scammed. I mean the leader of anti scammers tried scamming me ... Lol

We have quite a few trades going on here, i actually get a lot of people messaging me for tags on aim that come from FK. Proof can be easily faked also, as members have fooled you with fake proof...

Yea but still its not very hard to log onto the acc on xboxlive.com and screenshot it then upload it on imagekorner. Im sure you get annoyed but nit everyone is as legit as you .

When Philly and I started we thought about Sythe, HackForums, and all the others. We thought that it would helps lot because if they can't provide proof then they are most likely trying to scam which already eliminates one way. As you were saying about faking proof. I know a lot of people can do this but I usually check myself to make sure they actually own it.we were just trying to protect members because lets face it sythe and HF have many scammers. I understand what your.saying about when you have 50+ tags to post. Maybe we can work something out to make this a bit easier. We were only doing it for member protection. If many people feel thessame maybe.Philly and I can talk.

It prevents scams, and the rule will never be removed. However I might implement the rule to where upgraded members don't have to post proof.

I think picture proof is the worst kind of proof. It can easily be faked, as shown by my fellow FK'ers here. The best is direct contact throuh the account (sending the person a message, stating it's them, for example, "This is Scarecrow from FK".) This is why the proof rule should be taken out, at least for upgraded members, and be replaced with a rule that message proof of the account must be shown if requested.

I know how easily it can be faked. So you guys can stop spamming the thread with fake proof pictures. Surprising or not alot of people honestly don't know how to fake it. If someone wants to scam they are going to do it anyways. This is just a minor precaution that works very effectively.

Yea honestly i have no idea how to do that. But please everyone that does know do not share.
