Question about scamming

So, if a user were to scam another user offsite for koins, nothing would be done still? Correct?

What if a user was impersonating them, so the person would just get the koins & a scam report?

What if the person was hacked, and trying to get someone else framed & banned? Would there be a refund if there was 'proof' if them being 'hacked'?

Would like these answered.

EDIT: This is not directed towards anyone. People asked me on AIM, lol.

I don't understand this either. Wouldn't they just get banned even if it was offsite?

No, you don't get banned for scamming offsite.

Which is why im asking if it still counts for koins

if the deal is with FK koins.. then the deal is on site. im pretty sure. if you send the koins to that person they either should refund them (if they're claiming they never agreed to the deal) or take the ban. hope i helped.

It's on and off site. If there is no PM's stating that the deal is going on then the user is just sending koins.

The real question is why scam for koins?!?

How the fuck do you transfer koins without using fk?

Not without using FK.

The deal would be offsite, but the user would send the koins, so there is no "On Site" deal going on. Only a user sending koins to another user.

Can sell koins @ 1k = $1 rate. If a scammer were to scam for koins he could simply sell them for money.

The deal would then be technically on-site, considering that Koins were involved in the deal.
It doesn't matter if there was a PM stating the deal or not, if you're buying/selling/trading with Koins, it would be considered FK related and a ban would take place.

Then what about the other question? About if it was an impostor posing as the user that just will not send them back?

Then it is not being scammed by that user, it's just them seeing an opportunity and taking advantage of it.

Offsite scammer - Send Koins to User (InsertGayUsernameHere) and I'll give you (InsertGayProductHere)

Idiot - I don't know that's your profile but I'll send the koins anyways.

Offsite Scammer - I'm not going to give you the (InsertGayProductHere)

Idiot - I'm making a scam report

Offsite Scammer - That's not my profile gg

I don't really understand what you mean by that, but if it's an imposter and you can prove it's not you, you shouldn't be banned.

It's impossible to prove whether you are someone or not. There's ALWAYS a possibility that one person is another. Only thing the admins have to rely on is people's words & IP's, which can easily be altered.

Unless you want to be labelled as someone who steals or a thief, I suggest you don't. It's wrong and it shouldn't be taken as lightly around here as it does.

Well obviously it would put a label on someone, but it would be off-site so it'd be like sending a gift to an address which you were told was correct, but was wrong.

With the koins being gift, address being user.

So you would steal off-site and still consider yourself legitimate because there's no repocussions on-site?
