Question about warning level

I recenlt was warned for a post i looked back and saw my mistake I admit I did it. After i saw the warning i quickly fixed the post since it was under 25 charachters. My question is Does your warning level ever go down after a period of time or is it like that forever?

The % of warning turns back to zero but the logs remain for future reference of Moderators.
